We played Deadly Inheritance as a group of two players and initially chose this case because of its 5/5 difficulty rating. Unfortunately, we found it to be far less challenging than expected. The case was very easy to solve, and it seemed to get progressively easier rather than more complex as we went along.

There could have been more suspects or misleading elements, as the solution became obvious early on with the evidence provided. While the interactive evidence was fun to explore, it ultimately made solving the case too straightforward. Although there is a small twist intended to add difficulty, it was quite easily predictable.

Overall, I would not recommend this case to those looking for a genuinely difficult or engaging mystery. As this was my first case, I was very excited going in, but solving it so easily left me feeling disappointed.

My grandma got this activity for fun for her birthday. We where busy for 2-3 hours ( Just beautiful we ate inbetween ens.) But it was so fun. I love brain teasers. We where a group of 7. ( One of them was my uncle who was video calling from England to help us out) Me and my 2 Uncles basically took over with main clues and i figured out the truth. Was it difficult? A little bit. But again I love brain teasers. Highly recommend. Would love to do a 5/5 Difficult again! Leave the easy stuff give me the hard ones. Will definitely love to do this again

We enjoyed it but not as much as others we have done. There were so few suspects. We got every objective correct with ease.

We solve the case under an hour

This was our second case. Took us roughly 2-3 hours to complete. Good for a fun family night.

Loved that it incorporated other forms of evidence (ie. video), although they should include a warning you'll need access an electronic device and the internet.

I notice some reviews complaining about the lack of instructions - this was actually enjoyable for us. Deciding how to divide up and in what order to read the evidence and objectives was part of the fun for us.

Highly recommend if you enjoy mysteries, puzzles, and spending an unconventional (but fun!) evening with your family.
